Maxell Vibrabone HP-VBC40
$50.00
Released April, 2011
The Maxell Vibrabone HP-VBC40 is a set of earphones phones with an inline volume and bass control. What sets the VBC40 apart from similarly priced earphones is that they vibrate. This vibration is passed through your bones and is advertised to enhance the listener's experience.

The vibration mainly respond to the lower frequencies of your music and it can be adjusted through the inline control. Other specifications include a 1.4m long cable, small/medium/large ear pieces for a better fit, and an advertised frequency range of 20~20,000Hz. Whilst the vibration function seems exciting, in reality it is more of a novelty. The VBC40 is not the first of its kind either; Audio Technica had previously produced a similar set of ear buds, although without vibration adjustment.
