Philips SHN7500/00
$150.00
Released June, 2007
The Pros:Fits comfortably enough to be worn for hours. Durably constructed, will last a long time. Carrying case is easy to work with and keeps everything secure.
The Cons:Sound cancellation doesn't seem to perform very well. Audio clarity is only mid-range, doesn't perform to standards expected at this price. Cords seem a little thin and cheap.
The Philips SHN7500/00 are earphones that actively counter ambient noise. This lets the consumer listen at a lower volume, lowering the risk of hearing loss. The earphones themselves are designed to enhance the sound with or without the noise canceling feature.

The earphones include an Angled Acoustic Pipe to channel sound directionally. The pipe is designed to work with the natural curvature of the human ear to funnel the sound with higher clarity. However it is important to remember that human ears have a great deal of variety, and the angle of the channel within an ear can change within a person's lifetime. The SHN7500/00 come with 3 interchangeable rubber ear caps to help have a snug fit. It also comes with a 3.5-6.35mm adaptor, a feature that increases the versitility of the device by letting it plug into a wider variety of audio devices it can connect to.
