Sony MDR-A35G
$20.00
Released October, 2001
The Pros:Fit in ears comfortably and don't slip out. Compact design folds up well for storage. Feel very light, don't really notice the weight of them at all.
The Cons:Doesn't block out surrounding sounds, wind tends to create a "whoosh" sound. Design is a little bland and clunky, not very attractive.
The Sony MDR-A35G are vertical in-the-ear style headphones from Sony's Sports and Active Style line. The headphones feature Sony Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuitry for powerful bass and sound efficiency and Neodymium magnets which provide more power and clearer sound than commonly used magnets.

They are designed with an ultra-light slim band which can fold together into a compact package for portability. The headphones are also water resistant and include Sony's Moisture Guard mechanism which pulls sweat away from the ear canal. The MDR-A35G are similar to Sony's MDR-J11G but the two models differ in that the MDR-A35G has a slim headband and folding design compared to the MDR-J11G's behind-the-ear clips. The MDR-J11G also lacks Sony's Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuitry and Moisture Guard mechanism which is included in the MDR-A35G.
