Sony MDR-EX300SL
$60.00
Released October, 2008
The Pros:Affordable price. Silicone, rather than rubber earplugs. Dynamic driver adds a balanced sound with good bass.
The Cons:The lead is too short without the extension and too long with it. Do not fit into the base of your ear and actually stick out. Cable is thin.
Based on the one year old top-of-the-line MDR-EX700SL, the MDR-EX300SL is a high-end dynamically driven earbud from Sony. Based on a smaller 13.5mm driver compared to the EX700SL's 16mm version, the EX300SL adopts the same multi-layer diaphragm technology and hybrid silicon tips for a comfortable fit.
