Sony MDR-EX32LP

$25.00

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Low Price. Heavy Bass. Very good Noise Isolation.

The Cons:Bass is way too heavy. No Middles at all. Not very crisp.

Marketed towards consumers as an alternative to their stock buds or basic headphones, the Sony MDR-EX32LP is a low priced dynamically driven earbud. At $24.99, the MDR-EX55 is driven by a 9mm driver, tweaked to be especially bassy.

While not as large as its two larger brothers (13.5, 16mm), this driver is still large enough to provide ample bass where single armature based models may struggle. Sony's poor warranty may be an issue, but at only 25 dollars, such a loss may not be as hard to bear as the $299 MDR-EX700LP. Available in black, white, pink or blue.
