The Cons:Can get better sound quality at this price (e.g. Hifiman RE0). Noticeable microphonics from cable (rubbing noises as you move around). Sound quality is mediocre.

Introduced at CES 2009, the MetroFi 220 is an inexpensive earphone by Ultimate Ears. Featuring a single titanium coated armature driver, up to 16dB of noise isolation, and three sizes of silicon tips, the 220 will be available in February for $80.

A vi model with in-line microphone will sell for $10 more. An cheaper model without the titanium coated driver, the MetroFi 170, was released at the same time for $50.
