Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pro

$400.00 Released October, 2006

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Same internal system as what was once considered the undisputed best IEM in the world (UE-10). Can be used with any range of sources and amplification - including every day personal media players such as iPods.

The Cons:Very expensive. Should be driven out of a dedicated amp with a better source than the every-day portable media player for best sound quality. Not as comfortable or as isolating as a custom fitted IEM (such as the much more expensive UE-10, or a similarly priced Freq).

Based on the UE-10 Pro, the Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pro is a universal earphone.  With a slightly more neutral sound than the UE-11 pro, the Triple.fi 10 Pro remains very musical, being at one time a standard for all other IEMs.

Where to Buy

Featuring a 3-driver armature design, the Triple.fi 10 Pro can reproduce frequencies even full sized headphones have difficulty with, but like most high quality, low impedance IEMs, the Triple.fi 10 Pro requires a good source and dedicated IEM amplifier to sound its best. A great price:performance point in the UE line-up, the Triple.fis cost less than half of their custom brothers while sounding the exact same! At $400, these would be ideal for high fidelity travel and on-the-go listening, with a decent amount of background noise isolation.
