With a slightly more neutral sound than the UE-11 pro, the UE-10 remains very musical, being at one time a standard for all other IEMs. Featuring a 3-driver armature design, the UE-10 can reproduce frequencies even full sized headphones have difficulty with, but like most high quality, low impedance IEMs, the UE-10 requires a good source and dedicated IEM amplifier to sound its best. If you don't mind taking $900 earphones out of the house, these would be ideal for high fidelity travel and on-the-go listening, with a decent amount of background noise isolation. However, a full size headphone rig might get you further for your money if you're planning on stationary listening.
