With a slightly less neutral sound than their still-available UE-10 pro, the UE-11 takes musicality to a level to a new hight for in ear monitors. Featuring a 4-driver armature design, the UE-11 can reproduce frequencies even full sized headphones have difficulty with, but like most high quality, low impedance IEMs, the UE-11 requires a good source and dedicated IEM amplifier to sound its best. If you don't mind taking $1500 dollar earphones out of the house, these would be ideal for high fidelity travel and on-the-go listening, with a decent amount of background noise isolation. However, a full size headphone rig might get you further for your money if you're planning on stationary listening.
