V-MODA's Bass Freq are mid-range earphones most notable for their availability in eight different colors, ranging from black and white to purple, orange, and lime green. The earphones sit in the entrance to the ear canal, deeper than earbuds but not as deep as full canalphones.

As a result, they provide less noise isolation than in-canal models, but may be more comfortable. Three sizes of silicon eartips are included to ensure a good fit for all users. They feature deep, detailed bass response surpassing that of most similarly priced earphones. Included is a cable manager accessory which can adjust the cable length while in use and allow for easier storage.
