The Westone 4R is the successor of the 4 in the R-Series of ultra high performance Westone in-ear headphones. The newest edition now has a detachable EPIC cable, which is a high-strength ultra-low resistance tensile wire design with aramid fiber that can be replaced if cables become damaged.

The EPIC cable also provides the option to add the EPIC mic. The Westone 4R offer their unique four balanced armature drivers. The new 4R model includes Westone's exclusive Acoustic Symmetry. This development in audio technology achieves a tight tolerance of +/- 2dB between earpieces, delivering a balanced, consistent sound. The 4R includes additional accessories such as inline volume control, 1/8 to 1/4 adapter, and a premium fit kit with a variety of foam and silicone ear buds to customize the fit. The Westone 4R ships with the new Monitor Vault, a case for transporting high-performance earphones. The case will deliver the product safely and can be used as a storage and commuter case. It provides protection with durability and a weather resistant design.
